I have lived in the area all my life. Never knew about Sumo until one of our daughters invited us to eat together there. What an experience. Totally enjoyed the chef KIKI, as he prepared our meal in front of us. I interacted with him and it made tge experience even more enjoyable. We had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. Everything we had was delicious. Definitely will be going back.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the sushi was here! They had an Eel avocado that was great. The peanut avocado was something unusual but delicious and I loved it. The spicy tuna was good, nothing special. The soup was very good and you get a salad at lunch too. This was very well priced and service was excellent. I’d definitely go back and recommend

The lunch special made this place worthwhile and we were very pleased. The portion sizes were really nice. Not too crowded and nice ambiance.

Excellent sushi, as usual! Loved how they arranged everything on a “boat”. We enjoyed sake and lychee martinis! Service was perfect. Thank you Sumo!

We ordered chicken Noodles and chicken katsu. Both tasted pretty good and we all enjoyed it. The chicken noodles initially came with beef and when we pointed out the waiter just removed the beef pieces and brought it back which still had some pieces in it. Did not make a big deal about it as the service was good and everyone was having a good time. The Sangria orange soda was surprisingly delicious and my kids enjoyed popping and tasting it.

I like the hibachi here. A bit inconsistent on cooking the protein at times but it would be good regardless. Chicken katsu is okay, wish it was crispier. All in all really good and I recommend going to hibachi with friends! Sushi was reliable as always!

This was my first time dining at Sumo, what a pleasant surprise!! From the interiors, atmosphere, service and quality of the food, overall I had a wonderful dining experience. The Fantastic Roll was soooo good, I took my time and savored each bite. The Tonkatsu Ramen with fried tofu was deep, rich and savory. Overall I recommend Sumo highly!
